nice shot, e can never get close enough for a good portrait as they are very skittish around here.

Thanks Mike. There’s a few great birding spots in the area where these handsome ducks winter. They are very used to people making it easier to get close up shots.

The only ducks around here that are acclimated to us humans seem to be Mallards yet I never tire of taking their portraits.
