Every spring my son and I look forward to seeing all the cute little goslings and ducklings out there. I just never get tired of their cuteness. Over the long weekend we made sure we got out to admire the little fuzzballs.
Burnaby Lake is a great place to see little ones. There was a large family of Geese off in the distance with two adults and about two dozen little ones. Unfortunately they were a little out of my camera’s reach, but there was a family that was closeby. This little guy didn’t mind getting a few solo shots in.
How cute is he?
We saw one Mallard with her little chicks, but she was keeping her distance. (I can’t wait to get my telephoto lens back!) Was hoping to see some Wood Duck chicks while we were there but no such luck.
