My son and I were walking around Deer Lake one sunny March afternoon. Mac actually was the one who spotted this Little Brown Creeper. [The funny part was that Mac was also wearing one of his favorite minecraft t-shirts, with a Minecraft Creeper on it ~ if you’re not familiar with Minecraft then please disregard this comment 🙂 ] Anyhow … I was pretty thrilled because this was actually a first for me, #104 on my overall list! These guys are so well camouflaged, which is probably a major reason for me not seeing them sooner. I only managed to get about a half dozen shots of the Brown Creeper as he was scurrying his way up the tree. A big thanks to my son for his eagle eye and spotting it.
