Today I thought I’d change the topic. I’m still catching up with my bird list but it’s nice to change things up now and again, don’t you think? I had two goals for the year. One was to learn how to use my camera better, to focus more on the technical side. My other goal was to practice more with my guitar, to learn more songs that I can sing along with. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately on the first goal, but I realize I need to make a little more time for my guitar. At the end of the day it’s nice to be able to pick up the guitar and sing a song or two (or ten), it’s good for my soul.
In the spirit of “Throwback Thursday” I’m sharing a video I did a few years back, of me playing “Lullaby”. I don’t have a highly technical set up (I think this was recorded via my Logitech WebCam) but I can guarantee there’s no auto tune ~ lol! My son’s in the background and he used to sing this song with me but for this take he seemed too busy eating his cookie.
Thanks for listening. This is helping me to refocus a bit, to remind myself to make some time in my day. Time for me to practice.
