I was lucky to spot a bushtit on a lovely April afternoon while taking a stroll around Lost Lagoon. I say lucky because I have only seen them about three times since I’ve started bird watching. I caught them on two different occasions last year but so far this year this has been my only sighting. Doesn’t help that they are so small and that they rarely sit still. This female was pretty focused at collecting some nesting material, so I was able to get a few shots in before she flew away.
