I had been looking forward to spring this year as I had been saving up to upgrade my camera gear and the time had come to make the jump. I purchased a Nikon D7200, a step up from the 3200 that I’d been using for the past 4 years or so. I was excited to get my camera out and about but the weather wasn’t co-operating, it always seemed to be sunny while I was working or had other plans. I find I’m on quite a learning curve and am having challenges getting good shots. Went to Burnaby Lake to get some shots of baby goslings and I had no good shots. This photo of the Knapweed flower was the best of the day. Thankful for the long weekend coming up as I really need some time for figuring out the settings. There’s never enough time in a day to do all that I want to do.
