Hanging out near the Ring-necked duck was this cool looking Hooded Merganser. I initially thought it was a female, but then based on the yellow eyes and the dark beak I realized it was a juvenile male. I love the hairdo!
The other duck that was nearby was a female Bufflehead. Quite a unique group. Too bad I didn’t get a decent shot of them all together.
