After we saw the trio of ducks we kept following the Garden Trail path which led us to a little bridge, and then a bigger bridge. There we spotted a Gadwall pair.
Of the ducks the Gadwall male’s colouring is a little subdued however when you look at the detail of the patterns on his feathers they really are quite lovely.
The Gadwall’s were hanging out with a Wood Duck pair, but they wouldn’t co-operate for a group photo.
