#29 on my list I didn’t even realize what I spotted until I got home and was reviewing my pictures. Initially I took one shot, figured it was a Robin and the lighting wasn’t good so I moved on. However after I zoomed in the pic and adjusted the exposure I realized that I had spotted a Varied Thrush. Another first for me as I’ve never seen these before. Now I’m hoping to see these again because I’d love to get a good shot, what a pretty bird!
BCSONGBIRD 
I saw one in lower Manhatten 12/17/13, prancing around in the snow in a housing complex. Birders came form far and wide to see that one. Wish they allowed images in replies, I have a few good ones.
