The next bird that I added to my list is the cute little Ruby-crowned Kinglet. The small little songbirds have always eluded me. The little birds always seem to be on the move, and always dart either high up in the trees or deep into the bushes. This weekend was my lucky weekend however. Not only did I see the Kinglet on Saturday at Cates Park (no good pictures from that day though) but I spotted some again when we went to Lost Lagoon at Stanley Park on Sunday.
Now that I’ve spotted them I am hoping to run across these more often. I would love to get some good shots of this cutie.

I dare you to get more good shots of kinglets LOL When I try I usally only add to my bare branch collection. Good practice trying to take photos of little erratic rockets.

lol – ya, that’s usually my challenge with the little birds. I have tonnes of blurry pictures. But they have to relax sometime …

Thank-you! They are adorable little birds. I must have shot at least 20 pictures to get these few, before the little guy flew away. The second shot is a little blurry but you can start to see the ruby on his crown.
