The Greater White-fronted Goose was a first time sighting for me. We were on the trail heading back to the entrance when we looked across to a farmers field and saw a bunch of them hanging out. What made me sad is when I went home and reviewed my pictures I found that I was not paying attention to my aperture and most of my pictures turned out white, kind of like a reverse negative. (I am trying hard not to use the pre-sets in my camera and have been using Aperture Priority and adjusting accordingly. You learn from your mistakes right? … well I still have some learning to do ~ lol!) Anyhow I was able to fix the exposure on a few shots so I guess it wasn’t so bad. After all this was a first time sighting, which always gives me a bit of joy! 🙂
