I take a lot of bird pictures that’s for sure, but also try to capture some of the natural beauty that I run across. I just finished cataloging my June and July pictures (takes a long time but well worth it when looking for things down the road) and thought I’d mix it up a bit on my blog and post some flower pics.

Did you spot the bee at the blanket flower? (picture above)
Love the coneflower. the centre looks like it’s on fire!

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses.
Not sure what kind of flower this is below….

One pretty yellow flower growing in the rocks.

You have a knack for detail and capturing the essence of your subject. The image of the roses made me pause … it could well be a painting. Beautiful. As for the blue one, perhaps chicory?

Thank-you so much for your nice comments. After googling “chicory” I’d say that’s definitely that pretty blue flower. Hope your day is going great!

You’re most welcome. Yes, my day started with songbirds calling in the woods … hope song finds you today as well. 🙂
