This is one bird that I hear before seeing. Usually I hear it and then spend a least 15 minutes searching the tall grass for it. It’s so tiny and blends in so well that it can be quite challenging to see, and then even more challenging to get a picture of as it hops around the tall grasses. I only have a handful of pictures of them this year and here’s two of them.
