Chickadees are definitely one of my favorite. The only ones I had run into before this point were the Black-capped Chickadees. But on this day during our travels in Stanley Park we ran across a bunch of Chestnut-backed Chickadees.
When we’re at Reifel, my son’s favorite thing to do is to feed the little chickadees that aren’t too shy to eat right from your hand. So when we ran across these guys at Lost Lagoon we thought we’d offer up a handful of sunflower seeds to see if they’d like them. Mac was delighted that these Chestnut-backed Chickadees were more than pleased to accept their feast. Allowed me get a few good shots of these cuties.
